Trafag was founded in 1942 and is based in Switzerland. The company has an extensive distribution and service network in more than 40 countries worldwide. This enables the company to offer an individual and competent consulting service.

In 2015, the company decided to invest in the Basque Country by establishing its subsidiary for Spain, Portugal and LatAm in Zamudio.
